Re:Center-

In the spring of 2026, our Senior Capstone Studio focused on addressing real-world challenges through the lens of interior design. My project, Re:Center, explored the impact of plastic waste and overconsumption by transforming the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans into a community-driven hub for recycling, education, and sustainable production. Through research, precedent studies, user analysis, and design development, I explored how interior spaces can encourage more responsible consumption habits. Using Revit and Enscape, I developed a fully realized design featuring a recycling collection center, upcycling workshop, educational spaces, coffee shop, and retail environment that promotes a circular approach to materials and community engagement.
